Wow.
Wow what?
Wow the thought that just occurred to me.
Gonna share?
Remember Back to the Future?
Who doesn’t?
Right. Remember Terminator?
That depends.
On?
I remember Terminator and T2. But the third and fourth movies I don’t remember.
Didn’t you see them?
Yup, that’s why I blacked them out of my mind, too. But go on.
Fine, I don’t need them anyway. See Back to the Future and Terminator…
Are two awesome films?
They are! But it’s greater than that!
All right, what?!
They’re basically the same film!
Explain.
Well, in Back to the Future, Marty ends up back in time and has to get his mom and dad together…
And in Terminator John sends Reese so that Reese will become his dad!
Uh-huh!
Wow. Which came first?
Terminator was ’84, Back to the Future was ’85, so pretty much simultaneously as far as movies are concerned.
That’s crazy!
Isn’t it? I just realized it, too.
But in Terminator, John didn’t go back.
Oh, sure, there are differences. McFly’s dad and mom are already there in the same time and the story is from his point of view, sure. But if you told Back to the Future from Marty’s dad’s point of view I bet it would be creepier.
Still, the idea that they are kinda the same plot in a lot of ways is hysterical.
I love it. It’s my new favorite thing
I thought this spinach pie was your new favorite thing.
It was, but this is my new, new favorite thing. That is my new old favorite thing. Keep up.
So sorry.

C’mon, Dan, it’s not that complicated.
Also, “new, new favorite” makes me think of Scott Pilgrim.
