All right fine. Ponycorn transforms in times of danger.
So you said.
So the main line of toys had to be Ponycorn, a set of him in both forms.
So far so good.
Then they wanted the deluxe line of transforming toys.
They go from pony to unicorn and back?
They do.
Oh god. Oh god, Sven!
Yes.

Think about it Mark, it has to transform, right?
Yeah, so what? I mean it has to … Oh!
Yes! Except it is even worse, because Ponycorn’s fur changes color when he changes from one form to the other.
So what did you do?
Remember those old gloves, get them cold and it shows a picture?
Of course.
I loved those, but I could never wait for it to be cold, so I would put mine in the freezer.
Well, there are rules about the color uses for those temperature sensitive dyes. The best way to use them is to have the blues and greens come out when it is cold.
All right, so?
So to make brown I needed those colors. White is best for warm times. And Ponycorn is a white unicorn and brown pony.
So when you get him…
No way! He has to transform so he grows a horn when a unicorn, right?
Yes.
And when a pony that horn is gone.
Yes, it was easy to put in a retractable horn in the head that would also react to the temperature. Not especially cheap but easy to work out how to do it. Except.
Except he’s a unicorn when it’s warm.
So when you get the toy cold it changes color but also the horn slides back away?
Yes! All right, yes! When you get the toy cold his large horn vanishes.
Shrinkage! Jesus, you built a toy that has a big phallic symbol that shrinks when it gets too cold?
I did.
I want a hundred of them. Right now.
That is pretty amazing, Sven.
You see why I didn’t want to tell you? You guys can’t tell anyone!

I am trying to talk them out of it, but they are sure it won’t be a problem.

Ok. The vibrating SERIOUSLY broke me. Saw it coming, nearly died anyway.
